Minister Naledi Pandor visited Necsa’s BeauTifueL System at COP 17 in Durban

On Wednesday, 7 December South Africa’s Minister of Science and Technology, Minister Naledi Pandor visited Necsa’s BeauTifueL System at COP 17 in Durban.

She was very positive about the technology and wants to employ it as a pilot program in a rural community. She was accompanied by DST representatives as well as some TIA representatives.

The BeauTifueL System has received very good reviews. All those who made enquiries were impressed that a technology developed for a nuclear application could be used for non-nuclear purposes.

The technology was compared to that of the internet and cell phones.
