The Visitor's Centre is located on the Pelindaba Site at Necsa near the Hartbeespoort Dam.
It is 40 km West of Pretoria, 20 km East of Brits, Madibeng and 50 km North of Midrand / Sandton.

From Pretoria Central, head eastwards turning onto D.F. Malan Dr following the signs towards the R104 (the most direct option is to turn onto Vom Hagen St).
Continue along the Magalies Freeway passing 2 toll gates (~R10 one way for a light motor vehicle - June 2012).
Immediately after the 2nd toll gate, take a left after the off-ramp and then right at the 3-way stop onto the R104.
Continue along the R104 past the 1st (traffic light) and 2nd entrances to Necsa and turn left at the 3rd entrance towards Gate 1.
Pass the original gatehouse and turn right just before the booms to find the NVC parking area.

From Centurion Mall travel north up Hendrik Verwoerd Dr and turn left into Jean Ave.
Take the off-ramp onto the Ben Schoeman Freeway towards Pretoria.
Travel through Pretoria along Potgieter St and turn left into Proes St.
Turn right into D.F. Malan Dr and then immediately left into Vom Hagen St.
Follow this road which will eventually become the Magalies Freeway. You will pass 2 toll gates (~R10 one way for light vehicles - June 2012)
Turn left after taking the final off-ramp and then right onto the R104.
Continue past the 1st (traffic light) and 2nd entrance and take the 3rd left towards Gate 1.
