On 6 February 2022, the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) issued the Request for Information (RFI) for the Multi-purpose Reactor (MPR) Project. Based on the excellent global response with suppliers requesting more time to enable them to provide more comprehensive information, Necsa has decided to extend the RFI response interval with additional 30 days. The new due date for submissions is 08 April 2022, 16:00PM South African Standard Time.
