Dr. Khensani Xivuri

Dr Xivuri is a seasoned IT Governance specialist with over 10 years of experience across IT auditing, risk governance, and compliance in diverse industries, including retail, national government, mining, banking, and telecommunications. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Data Science from the University of Johannesburg, a Master of Information Technology (MIT), a BCom Informatics Honours, and a BCom Informatics degree from the University of Pretoria.

Dr Xivuri has gained extensive national and international exposure through her work with EY, PwC in Ireland, and MTN, where she served as a Technology Audits Manager and led technology audits across Africa and the UAE. Her work spanned multiple countries, including Uganda, Ghana, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Nigeria, Guinea‑Bissau, Guinea‑Conakry, Côte d’Ivoire, Botswana, Zambia, Rwanda, Congo‑Brazzaville, and Dubai.

She is currently the AI Lab Research Lead at Vodacom Group and a Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg.
