Dr Pradish Rampersadh
Dr Pradish Rampersadh is a Professional Natural Scientist who joins Necsa from the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
He obtained his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, specialising in hydrogen fluoride adsorption, while employed at Necsa. During his tenure, he has held various scientific positions within Applied Chemistry, including serving as Section Head: Plasma Technology.
In terms of nuclear experience, he completed a term as a Senior Scientific Consultant at the Fuel Development Laboratories of the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) project.
Prior to joining SACNASP, Dr Rampersadh served as the Content Adviser to the Portfolio Committee on Energy in the National Assembly at the Parliament of South Africa.
He also represents South Africa at the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD) Global Science Forum Expert Group on Integrity and Security in the Global Research Ecosystem.
