Petrus Schutte
Petrus Schutte is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience in financial management, operational turnaround, and strategic transformation across the fluorochemical, mining, manufacturing, and FMCG sectors. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Pelchem SOC Ltd, a specialised fluorochemical producer within the Necsa Group, where he plays a key role on the Necsa Group EXCO, the Pelchem Board, and the NTP Board.
With a career spanning over two decades, Petrus has held senior leadership positions including Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, General Manager, and Financial Manager. Prior to joining Pelchem, he served in CFO and senior finance roles at Sonae Arauco, Anglo Operations, Pioneer Foods, and other high‑performance industrial organisations.
Petrus holds the CGMA designation through the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He also holds a BCom Honours in Financial Management and a BCom in Accountancy from the University of Johannesburg, and has completed executive development programmes at Stellenbosch University.
